Restoring Coastal Ecosystems: ATI Volunteers Partner with SCORE
ATI volunteers dedicated a day to the South Carolina Oyster Restoration and Enhancement (SCORE) program, an initiative by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. At the James Island facility, our team constructed oyster reef habitats designed to mitigate erosion of marsh banks and enhance marine biodiversity.
This collaboration underscores ATI's dedication to environmental stewardship. By contributing to the restoration of oyster reefs, ATI volunteers played a crucial role in preserving South Carolina's coastal ecosystems for future generations.
Engaging in environmental initiatives like SCORE reflects the ATI Foundation's mission to positively impact our communities. It demonstrates our values of teamwork and collaboration with public and private sector partners. Through such programs, the Foundation advances its vision of achieving sustainable outcomes that benefit both the environment and the community.
